i think if you get dreads there is a way to ';untangle'; them but it isn't easy. i think the only other way you can get rid of them is to cut your hair. sorry.
Dreads are years of commitment. If you're not into that timeframe, go to a hair stylist.. not a place at the mall... and say ';I'm looking for something new, I normally do a %26lt;insert how you do your hair%26gt;.. what do you think I could try?';





You'd be amazed how many things they could show you and give you some alternatives.
They are a pretty permanant style. I've heard of people being able to brush them out but it takes a long time, and the hair is usually in awful condition afterwards. Bet solution is to cut them off unfortunatley. So if you don't plan on having dreads for a while, then I suggest you opt for a different style.

Pretty much. Unless you shave your head. I heard you can comb them out, but I think your hair would pretty much be dead and what not. But I have to tell you Guys with dread locks are pretty damn sexy... actually girls are too and im not even into that!
