I wnt to get a new hair style but i dnt knw how to style it. R there any sites that do steps and show pics ?

It's kind of unusual but the messy look even with short hair isn't always quick if a guy cares how he looks as these styles lend themselves to bad hair days. A well groomed neat short style that has a set pattern that the hair can quickly be brushed to such as one of the short pomp styles-crew cut, ivy league(long crew cut), flat top crew cut- or a regular taper cut is a lot quicker than one where sections of hair have to be set to go one way or the other on the top of the head as the hair dries. This answer explains the basic short cuts. The first two links contained therein are quite informative:

[A crew cut is a timeless prep haircut, the photo directly above is from 1946, and yet if the photo was in color, both the guy and the clothes he is wearing could be in the latest J Crew catalog. ]

Grooming a crew cut, ivy league, or flat top crew cut is basically the same.

1) Towel dry hair.

2) Barely dip fingertips in jar of wax.

3) Transfer wax on to palms.

4) Smooth palms over hair.

5) Brush hair up off forehead to form short pomp front.

If a crew cut or ivy league is to short, try a regular taper cut:

You also might get ideas from taking a look at the short and medium galleries at the haircuts for men site. If you decide to go for a short style, be sure to take a photo to help describe the desired style to the barber or stylist.
