When trying out new hair styles does 'practice make perfect'?

I watch youtube videos about hairstyles and I attempt them, and they always come out...

well - Nothing like it looked in the video.

So I was wondering if this was a practice make perfect' thing?

anyone have any experience to speak from? When trying out new hair styles does 'practice make perfect'?
it does, but dont have the straighteners on continuously for hours on end as that damages the hair. try simpler ones first, get the right equipment like spray, curling tongs, rollers....etc and do it when you arent going out if its a first try. sundays are best, i find:) or ask a hair dresser or stylist, go in with a magazine cutting of the kind of style you wantWhen trying out new hair styles does 'practice make perfect'?
Yes it definitely makes the hugest difference. I had to try out that Lady Gaga Bow Hairstyle from ';Poker Face'; a few times to get it right. It's actually pretty simple once you get the hang of it. I always watch the video once to see the whole thing then the second time I watch and take notes. Then third time I watch and pick up anything I missed. Then I actually attempt it once or twice to get it right. It usually does take some time to understand. Sometimes it helps to contact the user if you have any questions or scan the comments for any questions that may have been answered.
practice makes perfect. also in those videos it people with all types of hair so if u dont have the same hair type as them it wont work the same on you. sometimes you have to train your hair to do what you want.
Yes it truly does. And if you kind of do it how YOU think i t would work, that helps too. Just keeping working at it and trying different approaches.
lol idk. sometimes hair just doesn't want to work
