Need help picking a new hair style!?

I've had the same hair style forever. I want something new and cute. My husband says he wants me to try a bob. My question is could I pull off a bob? I have an oval shaped face but I have a sorta big nose ( i feel you have to be extremely girly looking to do a bob) If not what sort of hair style would look good? Right now I have long hair thats layered.Need help picking a new hair style!?
