I need a new hair style? parents are controlling?

i have my ';emo/scene'; hair style. i feel uncomfortable without my bangs. but my mom wants me to get my hair out of my face. any help on how i can cut my hair, make my mom happy, and still feel confident?I need a new hair style? parents are controlling?
You should be free to have the haircut you want, when you are old enough that's what you're going to be doing anyway. If only your mum let you have the hair you want, eventually im sure you would come to the same conclusion she has, but by restricting things from you she is only driving you in the opposite direction.I need a new hair style? parents are controlling?
If you like your bangs, you could just wear a clip, and take it out when you want it to fall back. It's cheaper than a hair cut.
